We're Back at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party 2025 \ An Honest Review!

We are back at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World for 2025. We attended on Sunday, October 19th.

The party was great. Now rain was not expected at all, but a storm did come through around 7pm. Fortunately, we were in line at Space Mountain and came out when it was almost over, but I heard it was quite the downpour. Due to the ground still being wet, the Headless Horseman didn't come out for the 1st parade and the 1st parade was also modified. The 2nd parade went off as planned.

We started our night by going to see Carousel of Progress. This is a favorite of Rider's and we have skipped it the last few times, so we made sure this was a first stop. Then we went to Tron for our 1st of 2 rides.

We then got in line for Space Mountain as the line was short, however, a cast member kindly told us it was switching over to the overlay and would be down for 15 minutes. So we decided to head to the Peoplemover. After that, we got in line for Space Mountain which was perfect timing, because a small, but heavy duty storm was about to pass through. We missed it all while inside, so that worked out perfectly.

We then hit up Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor which is Rider's favorte treat stop because if you stay long enough, you will probably get to talk to the Monsters. Rider did and it did not disappoint. After that, we went back to Tron to ride again but at night and also in the back. I haven't seen Tron: Ares, but the overlay is fantastic.

We then went back to Storybook Circus and hit up some more treat trails and rode Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Haunted Mansion. The fireworks were getting close to starting, so we decided it was a good time to head to see Mickey and Minnie and also change Rider into something more comfortable. Mickey and Minnie were a walk-on and when we got out, Jack & Sally were down to a 20 MINUTE WAIT! So we literally ran to that line and it too was a walk-on. As we were leaving, I checked the time (fireworks were over) and the wait was now 90 minutes.

We then went over to Pirates of the Caribbean (walk-on) and then walked towards Tiana's but stopped at the parade entrance. At this point, the cast members were still unsure if the Headless Horseman would come out. He did at 11:08pm. After that we walked on Tiana's Bayou Adventure and then I told Rider to choose one more ride. He of course chose Space Mountain on the other side of the park. It too was a walk on and we walked out at 12:02am.

It was an amazing party and we had an incredible time. Came home with way too much candy and so many new memories!

I highly recommend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.
