Embarkation Day on RCCL's OASIS OF THE SEAS: Our Spring Break 2026 Adventure!

We kicked off Spring Break 2026 sailing on Oasis of the Seas out of Port Everglades, and it was the perfect 6-night Caribbean getaway! We set sail on Sunday, March 15, 2026, with incredible stops in Nassau, Bahamas; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
This was actually our third cruise in a year departing from Port Everglades, and every time, it just gets better. If you’ve sailed out of the Port of Miami, you’ll immediately notice how much easier Fort Lauderdale is. From arrival to embarkation, everything feels smoother, less crowded, and way more efficient.
Parking is another big win here. We paid $120 for 6 nights, and honestly, the convenience of on-site parking is hard to beat. While there are off-site options like Park ‘N Go that can save you a bit of money, being able to park and walk to the terminal in under 5 minutes is a game changer, especially when you’re traveling with luggage (and kids!).
If you’re debating between ports for your next cruise, Port Everglades definitely deserves a spot at the top of your list for ease and convenience.
Come along with us as we kick off this adventure! Join us in our embarkation day vlog to see what boarding day is really like, from arrival at the port to our first night on board and everything in between.
