One of the highlights of our cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas was spending the day at the brand-new Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau, and it truly delivered the perfect mix of relaxation and family-friendly fun.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless and elevated. The vibe here is very “resort-style meets island escape,” with beautiful ocean views, plenty of seating, and thoughtful touches that make it easy to settle in and enjoy the day.
We spent most of our day at the Family Pool, and honestly, it was the perfect choice. If you’re traveling with kids, this is the spot. The pool area had such a fun, energetic atmosphere without feeling overcrowded. There was plenty of space to spread out, and we never had an issue finding chairs. The kids loved the splash features and shallow areas, while the adults appreciated being able to relax nearby without constantly chasing them around.
What stood out most:
- Plenty of seating (a huge win compared to some port days)
- Easy access to food and drinks
- A great balance of fun + relaxation
- Clean, well-maintained facilities
It’s one of those places where you can truly spend hours without feeling the need to move, and that’s exactly what we did.
We did carve out some time to check out the Family Beach (now called Chill Beach), and it was absolutely worth it. The water was that signature Bahamas crystal-clear blue, calm and perfect for kids to safely play and splash around. The beach itself had soft white sand and plenty of loungers and umbrellas, making it easy to relax while still enjoying the view. While we didn’t stay here as long as the pool, it was the perfect change of pace, slower, quieter, and more scenic.
Another major highlight? The food and drink options. Everything was super convenient, and you never had to go far to grab something. Whether it was a quick snack or something more filling, the quality was great and kept everyone happy throughout the day.
Our day at the Royal Beach Club in Nassau was the perfect mix of family fun and relaxation. Between the lively energy of the Family Pool and the laid-back beauty of the beach, it truly offered the best of both worlds. If you’re sailing with Royal Caribbean and have the chance to visit, I highly recommend it, especially for families. It’s one of those experiences that elevates your entire cruise itinerary.
