Universal Studios: Day 2 of our Universal Orlando Summer 2025 Vacation \ Booking a Ghost Room?

The first week of June 2025, our family headed to Universal Orlando for our summer vacation. While we were staying at the new Universal Stella Nova Resort for 5 nights to be closer to Epic Universe, we did book one night at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort. This is one of the three deluxe resorts that includes the Unlimited Express Pass (for the original 2 parks) for free as part of your hotel stay. So we received 2 days of Express Passes for 1 night.

This is considered a "ghost" room, as it wasn't where we were staying. With that said, we used it the first day to rest for a few hours during a thunderstorm. We also used it the second day to change into dry clothes after riding the 2 water rides at Islands of Adventure as soon as they opened. So while we originally only booked the room to get the Express Passes, it was so helpful to have that room available to use during the 2 days we went to the original 2 parks. We definitely got our money's worth.

Follow our second day at the parks as we, rope drop Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls and Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges, change our clothes back in our "ghost" room, go to Universal Studios, eat lunch at Mel's Drive-in and ride Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit one last time.
