Today I am trying the Danessa Myricks Groundwork Blooming Romance Palette. This is a multi-use, talc-free palette with velvety pomades and coordinating oil-absorbing shaping powders that easily define eyes, brows, cheeks & lips in shades of pinks, berries, and mauves.

Having tried and loved the original Defining Neutrals Palette, I was very excited to try this one. I still think there is a learning curve to see what shades and tools work best for different things, but overall, I was thrilled with how my makeup came out. I can definitely see myself using this one a lot in the future.

HOW TO APPLY: Apply Velvet Pomade to shape and define.  Use the Shape N' Fix Powders to set and smooth. Use each formula alone or together. For a soft easy application apply with a fluffy brush & tap to build color. For structure or graphic shapes use a firm brush to lay down structure.

Apply Velvet Pomade for structure & definition. Use with Shape N' Fix Powder in a lighter shade to lock in place & soften or build dimension. 

• Sculpt the Face

Sculpt with Velvet Pomade. Apply to cheekbones, jawline and temples with a fluffy, angled brush. Then set with Shape N' Fix Powders in coordinating shade. 

• Fill the Brows

Structure brows with Velvet Pomades. Fill with Shape N' Fix Powder using a small angled brush. 

• Line and Define 

Trace a wing with Velvet Pomades. Create a cut crease or line your lips. Then set and smudge with Shape N' Fix Powders.
