An Unforgettable Evening At The Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue! / What To Know Before You Go

For our recent summer DVC Disney vacation, our family stayed at the brand new Disney Vacation Club Cabins at Fort Wilderness. Because of this, we knew we wanted to attend the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue one night. Looking at our schedule, I knew the best night would be the first night of our vacation, so that is what we did.

We purchased Category 1 for the 8:30pm show. At 60 days out, this was the only one of all 3 shows that still had Category 1 available. This ended up working out perfectly.

We did rent a golf cart for the night, so getting to Pioneer Hall was easy, but they do have an internal bus that is easily accessible. We arrived at 8:25pm and we were able to check in and meet with the chef about my gluten free allergy all before they started to seat for dinner.

Just like in December 2019, we were seated right up against the stage, which is pretty awesome. Rider was starving and he devoured all of the ribs that were delivered to our table. Now there was a mix-up with our food, so I will just say, if you have any sort of allergy, always be vigilant about your food.

And once again, Rider was selected to be the Texas Ranger for the skit at the end of the show. He was SOOO excited and just wanted to dance onstage. I was so proud of him.

All in all, it was even better than I remembered. The cast changes, so in turn, the show does a little as well. The food was great and it was just a fun way to start our summer vacation.
