AFTERNOON AT ANIMAL KINGDOM / ANIMATION EXPERIENCE, RIDES & WILDERNESS EXPLORERS

Our fourth and final full day brought us to Disney's Animal Kingdom. We arrive just after 2pm. On our agenda was the Animation Experience, but we didn't think we'd make the 2:30pm class, so we instead headed to Expedition Everest first, which was great because the line took less than 20 minutes.

We then headed to Rafiki's Planet Watch to do the Animation Experience which Rider LOVES. It's also a great break with air conditioning. That took about 75 minutes total (without visiting the petting zoo).

After that, we grabbed a late lunch at Restaurantosaurus. They have excellent burgers here and it has become a favorite of ours. We then headed to Pandora to ride Flight of Passage. However, on the way there, Rider discovered the Wilderness Explorer Programs and that was now his main priority. He was able to complete 6 badges before the park closed at 7pm. We didn't get to ride Kali River Rapids because Dinosaur went down while we were in line, so the wait for that was double what we anticpated. However, we had an amazing day at Animal Kingdom and even saw Kevin!
