OUR DAY AT MAGIC KINGDOM \ USING THE GENIE+ STACKING STRATEGY TO SKIP LINES
Our first full day at Walt Disney World was Tuesday, November 7th and it was our Magic Kingdom day. We didn't arrive to the park until almost 4pm, however, the park was open until 11pm. We purchased Genie+ ($27/pp - total $86.28) and at 7am I started collecting and stacking Lighting Lanes. We also purchased an Individual Lightning Land for Tron Lightcycle Run, as this was the only way for us to ride it this day. We skipped the 7am drop because we knew we would be unable to make it to the park in time to make our boarding group and then we missed the 1pm drop because we had not yet entered the park.
My son also customized his own TRON-inspired action figure at the Grid Digitization Portal. The full experience will be up on his channel @ItsRidersWorld. However, it is important to note that you may not receive the full experience if you purchase at the end of the day. This was something that was not disclosed to us before purchasing. When we picked up the action figure, it had already been placed in the box and was just handed to my son. There is more to the experience that we did get because it was close to closing time.
All in all, it was a great day. While I do not like having to purchase Genie plus and the ILLs, it does allow us to sleep in and relax at our resort a little, which does make our Walt Disney World trips feel more like a vacation.
